People over the country are happy and cheering to the statement of Samdech Mohasenabdei Dejo HUN SEN, the prime minister of Cambodia, about the gambling site closure. In the statement, he mentioned that all the gamble will be no longer in the country. He needs all the gambling investment to be stopped even under contract. He asked the minister of Finance and Economy to check for the contract agreement made between the government and the the biggest football game company well known as CAMBO SIX if the government can stop the contract. He said if the contract is still valid, we can also close but the government will be in charge of paying back as per contract meaning.For me, I am also happy to this action made by the government, especially our prime minister but I am not happy for this kind of action. The government gave the license to the investors. The government signed the agreement to allow the investors to invest in the country. The government should remain the agreement and license until the end of the period. The government should not do any action just like a dream or thunder light as this kind of action will be the message to the potential investors saying that invest into Cambodia is not stable. On the other hand, if the government close any company, they should look into the situation. Right now, the world economic crisis is still the problem for our country as well as others. Thousands of staffs are unemployed everyday. The government closed the gambling places, where do the employees go and get the jobs? Or Hun Sen just want to show how strong he is?
